Mediation

Mediation is a non-adversarial, cooperative process that enables parties to resolve disputes and avoid costly, protracted litigation.

Mediation is rapidly growing as more and more people are beginning to appreciate the advantages it offers over the traditional court system.  Mediation is almost always less expensive and less time-consuming than litigation, it has a remarkable success rate and, perhaps most importantly, mediation focuses on preserving relationships and the integrity of its participants.

Mediation has proven to be an effective method of peacefully resolving a wide range of civil disputes, including those involving the workplace, community matters, intrafamilial issues, and many other commercial and interpersonal disputes.

As a mediator trained in facilitative mediation techniques, Ms. Dalton serves as a neutral party, assisting disputants in working together to create a voluntary, peaceful, and lasting resolution to their conflict that is acceptable to everyone involved.

Ms. Dalton has completed the training required by the Rules of Superintendence for the Courts of Ohio, Rule 16, for divorce and family mediation.
